An Employer Identification Number (EIN) is also known as a Federal Tax Identification Number (FTIN), and is used to identify a business entity.

It is a 9-digit number (for example, 12-3456789) assigned to employers, sole proprietors, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, certain individuals, and other entities for tax filing and reporting purposes. This is a free service offered by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

New EINs are applied for through the Compliance Department of the International Corporate Headquarters (ICHQ). Please email ICHQ Compliance Specialist at compliancespecialist@sgrho1922.org or submit a help ticket to request assistance with applying for a new EIN.
