Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. is thrilled to announce registration is now open for this summer’s Virtual Leadership Institute (VLI) on Saturday, July 12, 2025, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST.
This year’s theme, "Pivot Like a PRHO," focuses on equipping members with the skills and strategies to navigate the next level of their leadership journey. Through dynamic, expert-led sessions, VLI will provide insightful, interactive, and impactful workshops for wellness, finances, career, and sorority officer-specific training under 4 distinct learning tracks and 2 additional offerings focused on inactive members who are interested in attending and those members interested in advancing to the C-Suite.
We are honored to welcome Ginny Clarke, a nationally recognized executive coach, former Fortune 50 talent strategist, and podcast host, as our keynote speaker. Members who are not financial on all levels for the 2024-25 sorority year should select the ‘Inactive’ registration type. Financial status will be verified at the close of registration. Non-financial/inactive members who select the incorrect registration type will be billed via PayPal for the difference in registration price. All payments are due no later than May 15, 2025.
Participants may attend any session, however, you may register only for one session per one-hour time slot. If the class is full, choose another. Non-financial/inactive members will be reassigned to the Inactive Member track if not originally selected. All sessions will be shared with registered attendees after the institute ends.
LEARNING TRACKS & OFFERINGS
- Alumnae Track - Tailored for our alumnae members, this track focuses on leadership development, career and continuing education opportunities, and strategies for personal success.
- Undergraduate Track - Aimed at undergraduate members, this track provides essential skills for academic and personal success, leadership training, and preparation for future roles within the sorority and beyond.
- Philo Track - This track is dedicated to our Philo members, offering guidance on service initiatives, leadership skills, and ways to support the sorority’s mission effectively.
- Rhoer Track - Designed for Rhoer members, this track emphasizes personal growth, leadership fundamentals, and the importance of sisterhood in fostering future leaders.
- C-Suite - Offers advanced leadership training and strategic insights for and from high-level leaders.
- Inactive Members - Welcomes members back with reactivation opportunities and updates on sorority initiatives. Inactive members that register should select the inactive session offerings during thier registration.

Go to Eventbrite → Click “Tickets” → Select your order → Click “Edit.” All updates must be completed by May 4 at 11:59 PM EST. No changes will be accepted after the deadline.

1. What is the cost of registration, and what's included?
Please see the registration cost breakdown below based on early bird and regular rates. Registration includes four classes, commemorative gift, and access to all learnings post-conference.
The shipping address provided during the registration process will be used to mail your commemorative gift. If your shipping address changes, you have until May 1, 2025 to update your shipping address in the Eventbrite platform (see #22 for instructions on how to do so). Sigma Gamma Rho will not mail replacement gifts if your address is incorrect.

2. Can I switch tracks after registering?
No, selected tracks cannot be changed after registration is completed. Please double-check and review the information before completing the submission.
3. What is the sizing chart?
4. Can I transfer my registration to someone else if I can’t attend?
No, registration transfers are not allowed for the Virtual Leadership Institute.
5. What if I register and can’t attend, will refunds be issued?
No refunds will be issued. However, registered attendees will still receive the VLI gift by mail.
6. What technology or platform is required to attend the conference, and what are the system requirements?
You’ll need a device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) with a compatible browser (Chrome, Edge, or Safari), updated operating system (Windows 10+, Mac OS 11+, iOS 14+, Android 10+), and stable internet speed (minimum 5 Mbps download speed).
7. Will the sessions be recorded, and can I access them after the event?
Yes, all sessions will be recorded and made available to registered attendees after the event.
8. How do I log in on the day of the conference?
You will receive login details via the email used during registration, including a link and instructions to access the event platform 14 days prior to the event. A second reminder email will be sent 72 hours before the event.
9. What happens if I experience technical issues during the event?

10. Will I receive a confirmation email after registering?
Yes, you will receive an email confirming your registration. If you don’t, check your spam folder. If this still cannot be located, please submit a ticket and select “Event and Conventions – Virtual Leadership Institute 2025” in the drop-down option so your inquiry can be directed to the correct representative.
11. Can I customize my schedule for the sessions I want to attend?
Yes, during the registration process, you will have the option to select which sessions you would wish to join. Please note that sessions are limited, therefore you will only be able to select one session per one hour time slot.
12. How will I receive updates or changes regarding the Virtual Leadership Institute?
You will receive updates via the email provided during registration and/or through the Official SGR app.
13. Is there a deadline for registering, or can I register on the day of the event?
Preregistration is required. Early Registration is February 1-28, 2025. Regular Registration is March 1- April 30, 2025.
14. What time zone is the event schedule based on?
The Virtual Leadership Institute starts at 9:00 AM EST. Please adjust for your local time zone.
15. How do I update my registration information if needed?
Log into Eventbrite → Click "Tickets" → Select your order → Click "Edit."
Changes can only be made until May 4, 2025. No updates will be allowed after this date.
16. Can I attend only specific sessions or parts of the Virtual Leadership Institute?
Yes, you can attend the opening and closing sessions and the sessions selected during your registration process.
17. Is there a limit to the number of attendees for the Virtual Leadership Institute?
Yes, session capacity is limited. Register early to secure your spot.
18. Is there a waitlist?
Yes, if registration reaches capacity, a waitlist will be available. If a spot opens, you will receive an email notification with a 24-hour window to claim your spot.
19. Will there be special accommodation for attendees who are deaf or hard of hearing?
Yes. ASL interpretation will be provided for opening and closing sessions. Closed captioning will be available for all breakout sessions.
20. Can I interact with speakers or panelists during the Virtual Leadership Institute?
Yes! Attendees can submit session questions via the app before the event, and many sessions will feature live Q&A opportunities with speakers.
21. Will I be able to provide feedback on the conference after it ends?
Yes, all attendees will receive a survey or feedback form at the end of each session to provide input.
22. What happens if my shipping address changes after I register?
Log into Eventbrite → Click "Tickets" → Select your order → Click "Edit" (Before May 4, 2025).
