Cancellations

All registration and a la carte ticket purchases are NON-REFUNDABLE. NO EXCEPTIONS. In the event of non-attendance, registration and/or a la carte ticket fees will not be refunded nor will credits be issued. To guard against unexpected events that may prevent registrants from attending the Boule, members, affiliates, and guests may consider purchasing event registration insurance and/or travel insurance. 

Transfers

Registration packages and a la carte ticket purchases may be transferred. There will be an administrative fee of $50 for all registration and a la carte ticket transfers. The deadline to submit a transfer request is May 31. 2024. Registration package transfers are only allowed between the same registration type (e.g., Alumnae Soror to Alumnae Soror). Only registrations that are paid in full may be transferred (i.e., installment plans must be completed first). Transfer requests and payment of the transfer fee must be submitted via the online transfer form. Emailed transfer requests will not be accepted or honored. It is the responsibility of the transferee to pay the transferor directly for any and all amounts owed. Sigma Gamma Rho will not participate in the exchange of funds or disposition of conference gifts between the two parties.

Why are there no refunds on registration packages or a la carte ticket purchases? 

During the conference planning process, the sorority signs contracts with vendors based on estimated attendance. These attendance estimates are based on registrations initiated as of a particular date. Once a contract is signed, the sorority must uphold its contractual obligations. Ensuring all financial obligations are met is extremely challenging when refunds are allowed. In an effort to guard against unexpected events that may prevent registrants from attending the Boule, members, affiliates, and guests may consider purchasing event registration insurance and/or travel insurance. Additionally, Boule attendees may transfer their registration package and/or a la carte ticket purchases through May 31, 2024.
