I AM LOCKED OUT OF MY ACCOUNT, HELP!

When members experience account lockouts, it is most commonly due to repeated failed attempts to access the portal with either an incorrect username and or password.  

QUICK TIP: It is important that you store your account information in a private yet personal accessible place to prevent these occurrences.


HOW TO ACCESS MY ACCOUNT AFTER LOCKOUT

On the login page, there is an option to reset your password and reclaim your username. Simply click 'Forgot Password" or "Forgot Username" to receive a link for access. This link will be delivered to the email address we have stored on your member profile. The password reset link is labeled as "data.dept." If you do not see an email from "data.dept" in your main inbox, please check your spam and/or junk folder for the password reset link.


The link expires after 8 hours, so remember to reset your credentials as soon as possible. If you do not receive a link, it's likely that this is due to incorrect email information, or the email used to submit your reset request is not the same as listed on your member account. In this case, you can create a ticket to our Help Center requesting assistance You can submit a ticket by clicking the Help Center Link below.

ACCOUNT LOCKOUT V.S. ACCOUNT ACCESS DENIED


Account Lockouts are a common instance where members may experience login access issues pertaining to username and password login difficulties with a system recognized Active Account, whereas Access Denied is an occurrence where members who have restricted access are prohibited from logging into the member portal with an Inactive account, or you may simply be signing into the wrong account.

Why does this happen you ask?
This is usually because members have been considered inactive within the organization for an extended period of time with a status of Inactive and now requires access granted within the Reactivations process and or Clearence for National Dues.
OR

Duplicate Web Guest accounts are created with different system recognized information listed on file. A members original account is the system recognized preference that stores all your pertinent data. It is important that all members use their original account information as the full history of your membership is linked to this record.
